But Bailey is the BEST?!!

We aren't sure how or why, but darling Bailey is the Last One. He was Jason's favorite, and such a very pretty boy... how can he be the one not chosen?! Alas, there is often one from each litter who is simply Not Chosen... the pup who misses out on the prime adoption window and before we know it is stuck in rescue without a family of his own. But this boy is very special... so sweet and smart and such a very good boy. Surely it is not too late for his own Forever Family to come for him!!

Boni & Bailey

Brando has found a home, so only two sweet puppies left. So ironic too... our family picked these two to be the FIRST two gone! Come meet these darling pups if you have a chance.

Lots of interest in Brando!

Deb reports that the puppies will ALL be at the Meet and Greet this Saturday at the Great Hills Trail PETCO from 1-4 PM. She has received several application for Brando, but Bailey and Boni are still looking for someone to love them.

Changes

Sweet Betsy went to a Foster-to-Adopt home on Tuesday-- hooray!! The first puppy to be adopted from this litter. Hopefully more homes are on the way for these sweet pups.

The rest of the puppies went to a new foster home on Wednesday-- one of the best homes in the world (I hope she will foster ME some day!!). And so they are having new adventures (including a dip in the pool for Bodie!) for the next few days. Their new foster mom takes amazing photos, so be sure and check out the photo albums!!! We sure will miss them terribly-- they are some of the funnest pups we've ever had! But things were getting a bit crowded here so we needed to make a change.

Also on Wednesday we found out that the pups have coccidia so they are taking some medicine for that for a few days. It is a very common thing in shelter puppies.

Crate Training!

We all survived the first night of crate training-- hooray! These first days are the hardest, but the puppies are trying their best and starting to get the hang of it (fingers crossed!!).

Puppies Playing

Here is a video of the puppies! There are many more photos and videos in the puppies' photo albums (links on the right).

Puppy Love!

The puppies have kept us quite busy the past 12 days. They have graduated from their puppy pens to ex-pens after escaping from the pens one at a time (Bodie first, then Brando, then Bailey & Betsy before we admitted defeat!). Next step will be crate training, which we will begin working on this week!!

The puppies have enjoyed the lovely weather we've had lately and have been romping in the yard in the new Spring grass as much as possible. They are playing with each other and with toys and very fun to watch. But they want to be with us as much as possible-- they all want to be picked up and loved on.

We are going to post them as available on the websites today... we are happy to announce that they have made it through their health quarantines and are ready to go to their new families for fostering until they are old enough to be spayed and neutered.

Bodie's Toe

We took Bodie to the vet on Friday to have his toe looked at. When he was pulled from the shelter we noticed he had some hair loss on a rear toe with some little scabs on it. It was looking red and inflamed. But after a shot of antibiotics and cortisone it is looking much better today.

The Boys: Bodie, Bailey, & Brando

The Girls: Boni, Betsy, & Bree

Welcome, Babies!

These little darlings arrived at our Foster Home on Wednesday evening. We weighed them all and gave them all a bath, nail trim, & ear cleaning after we filled their little bellies and got them set up in a comfy puppy pen. They were pretty tired after all of that and snuggled up to each other for the night.
